EB appears in loop 2110C (subscriber) or 2110D (dependent) of the 271. EB01 carries the eligibility/benefit code (1 = Active Coverage, 6 = Inactive, B = Co-Payment), EB03 the service type, EB06 the time period and EB07 the patient liability amount.
