NFC-e
Brazilian retail electronic invoice, SEFAZ compliance.
Definition
Aimed at point-of-sale (B2C), the NFC-e replaces the cupom fiscal and the model-55 NF-e in retail. Issued in real time and authorised by SEFAZ, it produces a simplified NFC-e DANFE bearing a QR Code that lets the consumer look the document up online. It includes an offline contingency mode.
Origin
Established by Ajuste SINIEF 19/2016 (consolidating earlier acts) and specified in the NFC-e Manual de Orientação do Contribuinte, under CONFAZ / ENCAT.
Example in context
<ide><mod>65</mod><tpAmb>1</tpAmb>…</ide> — mod=65 distinguishes the NFC-e from the NF-e (mod=55).
