WCSTAT replaces the Unit Statistical Report (USR) legacy since 2017 in NCCI states. Flat file + EDI format (WCPOLS, WCCRIT, DCI). Covers data: policy header, employer info, governing class code, exposure (payroll/lives), claim info (loss type, dates, indemnity + medical, recovery). Annual compliance audit by NCCI.

Usage

Mandatory for WC carriers in 38 NCCI States + DC + USVI. Independent bureaus (NYCIRB, PCRB Pennsylvania, WCIRB California) have their own statistical formats.
