German XML e-invoice standard, maintained by KoSIT.

Definition

XRechnung is a CIUS of EN 16931: it tightens and clarifies the European semantic core with German business rules (BR-DE prefix). An XRechnung instance may be serialized in one of the two permitted syntaxes — UBL or UN/CEFACT CII. Its BT-24 (Specification identifier) carries the value urn:cen.eu:en16931:2017#compliant#urn:xeinkauf.de:kosit:xrechnung_3.0.

Specified and maintained by KoSIT (Koordinierungsstelle für IT-Standards) on behalf of the IT-Planungsrat; compliant with European standard EN 16931-1 (CEN/TC 434). Released twice a year.
