X12 transaction set reporting product transfers and resales.

Definition

The 867 reports resale movement back to the manufacturer: a distributor or wholesaler declares which products, in what quantity and to which customers they were resold. It feeds sell-through tracking, chargebacks and rebate calculation, complementing the 852 on the distribution-channel side.
