Vignette virtuelle FNE
Fiscal security element of Côte d'Ivoire's Facture Normalisée Électronique.
Definition
The virtual sticker replaces the paper stickers previously distributed by the chamber of commerce. It is the central security element a business buys from the DGI and that is then affixed to each certified invoice as a certification QR code, an FNE authentication visual and an electronic seal evidencing validation.
Origin
Mechanism set out by decree n°0337 of 9 May 2025 and the FNE portal documentation of the Direction Générale des Impôts (DGI) of Côte d'Ivoire ; sticker sales and certified issuance opened on 26 May 2025.
Example in context
An Ivorian SME buys a credit of virtual stickers on the FNE portal ; each certified invoice consumes one sticker, and its QR code lets the buyer verify authenticity with the DGI.
