Definition
The Privacy Act requires: public System of Records Notice (SORN) ; individual consent for disclosure ; right of access and correction by the individual ; computer matching agreements for inter-agency sharing ; civil and criminal penalties. Coupled with FISMA, Federal Records Act, OMB A-130.
