Uruguay's electronic fiscal document, governed by the DGI.
Definition
The CFE (Comprobante Fiscal Electrónico) is Uruguay's family of electronic fiscal documents: e-Factura, e-Ticket, e-Remito, e-Resguardo, and others. Each CFE is a digitally signed XML, transmitted to the Dirección General Impositiva (DGI) and identified by its comprobante type, series and number.
