UNG
The EDIFACT equivalent of X12 GS — a cluster of same-type messages.
Definition
UNG carries the message-type code (ORDERS, INVOIC...), the application sender (S006), the application receiver (S007), date/time (S004), and the message version-controlling agency (S008). Optional: most EDIFACT partners only use UNB + UNH... UNT + UNZ.
