Definition

OCDS v1.1.5 (stable release, v1.2 in progress) defines the contracting process composed of releases linked by OCID (Open Contracting ID). Fields: planning, tender, awards, contracts, implementation, parties, documents, amendments. ~50 countries publish in OCDS including UK, Ukraine, Moldova, Paraguay, Indonesia. Extensible via Extensions Registry.

Example in context

The UK Contracts Finder portal publishes all central public contracts in OCDS JSON ; each OCID traces tender > award > contract > payments.
