Swiss QR Code
The Swiss QR Code, the data core of the Swiss QR-bill.
Definition
The Swiss QR Code sits in the payment section (A6 landscape) of the QR-bill. It encodes, as structured text, the creditor IBAN/QR-IBAN, amount, currency, reference and payment information. A Swiss cross at its centre identifies it; the data set aligns with ISO 20022. It replaced the orange and red ESR/BVR payment slips on 30 September 2022.
Origin
Specified by the QR-bill Implementation Guidelines and QR-bill specifications of the Swiss Payment Standards, published by SIX Group (Switzerland); QR symbology per ISO/IEC 18004.
Example in context
