The mandatory annual security attestation for every SWIFT user.

CSP is built around CSCF (Customer Security Controls Framework) version 2024: 25 mandatory and 8 advisory controls across 3 objectives (Secure environment, Know and limit access, Detect and respond). KYC-SA attestation via the SWIFT portal, verifiable by counterparties.

Origin

Introduced in 2017 after the Bangladesh Bank attack (2016). Annual CSCF update.
