Sello Digital del SAT
Digital fiscal certification stamp of the CFDI in Mexico.
Definition
A CFDI carries two seals: the sello del emisor (signed with the taxpayer's Certificado de Sello Digital) and the sello del SAT, computed over the cadena original of the Timbre Fiscal Digital and signed with the SAT's certificate. The presence of the sello del SAT attests to certification (timbrado) by the authority.
Origin
Defined by Mexico's SAT (Servicio de Administración Tributaria) in the CFDI Anexo 20 and the Timbre Fiscal Digital (TFD) complement.
