SDD B2B
Business-to-business SEPA collection scheme, distinct from Core.
Definition
The B2B scheme is for business (non-consumer) debtors only. Unlike Core, it grants no "no-questions-asked" refund right for an authorised collection; the debtor's bank must check each collection against the mandate data, which the debtor has confirmed to it beforehand. Presentation timelines are shorter than for Core.
Origin
Defined in the European Payments Council SEPA Direct Debit Business-to-Business Rulebook (EPC222-07).
Example in context
In pain.008 the scheme is flagged by <LclInstrm><Cd>B2B</Cd></LclInstrm> (versus CORE for the consumer scheme).
