ReqdColltnDt
ISO 20022 element of PmtInf in pain.008 (Customer Direct Debit Initiation).
Definition
ReqdColltnDt is carried at the PmtInf level of pain.008 and sets the settlement (due) date of the collection. It must respect the SEPA scheme's presentation deadlines — historically D-5 business days for a FRST/OOFF and D-2 for a RCUR/FNAL under SDD Core, with most banks now accepting D-1. A date that is too short results in a reject or reschedule.
Origin
Defined in the ISO 20022 Message Definition Report for pain.008, maintained by the Registration Management Group (ISO TC 68); presentation calendar set by the EPC SEPA Direct Debit Rulebook.
