ISO 15022 field qualifier used in SWIFT MT Category 5 messages.
Definition
PSET identifies the place of settlement — usually a central securities depository (CSD) or an ICSD such as Euroclear or Clearstream — designated by its BIC in field :95P::PSET of the SETDET block. Both counterparties' instructions must carry the same PSET to match; a mismatched PSET is a classic cause of matching failure.
