PRF (X12)
ASC X12 PRF segment, the link between the ASN and its originating order.
Definition
PRF appears in the Order loop (HL03=O) of the 856. PRF01 carries the purchase-order number echoed from the 850, letting the buyer match the announced shipment to its order. PRF04 may carry the PO date. It is the pivot for order↔shipment↔invoice reconciliation.
