Peppol SMP

Capability-metadata service of the Peppol network.

Definition

Each participant is registered with an SMP that publishes, for its identifier, the supported document types and processes plus the AS4 endpoint and certificate of its receiving Access Point. C2 reads this metadata before every send.

Origin

Based on the OASIS Service Metadata Publishing (BDXR SMP) specification, profiled by OpenPeppol's Peppol Service Metadata Publishing (SMP) Specification.

Example in context

GET http://smp.example.eu/iso6523-actorid-upis%3A%3A0208%3A0123456789/services/... returns the signed ServiceMetadata describing C3's endpoint.
