ProfileID

UBL element that ties a document to a PEPPOL business process.

Definition

ProfileID identifies the collaboration process, distinct from the document type (CustomizationID). For PEPPOL BIS Billing 3.0 its value is urn:fdc:peppol.eu:2017:poacc:billing:01:1.0. The ProfileID plus the document defines the "process identifier" published at the SMP under the cenbii-procid-ubl scheme, which states which documents chain together in a collaboration.

Origin

OASIS UBL 2.1 element (EN 16931 BT-23). The process scheme cenbii-procid-ubl and the PEPPOL value come from the OpenPEPPOL Policy for use of Identifiers and the POACC specifications.
