Definition

pain.001 carries a GrpHdr then one or more PmtInf blocks, each grouping CdtTrfTxInf entries that share an execution date and debtor account. It is the originator-side pivot for SEPA SCT transfers and subsequently feeds the interbank pacs.008.

Defined in the ISO 20022 Message Definition Report (ISO TC 68/SC 9); its SEPA version is specified by the EPC SCT Implementation Guidelines (European Payments Council).
