OTel native transport protocol.

Definition

OTLP/gRPC on port 4317 ; OTLP/HTTP on port 4318 (Protobuf binary or JSON). Payload defined by opentelemetry-proto. Optional GZIP compression. Bearer Token or mTLS standard auth. Almost all observability vendors (Datadog, New Relic, Honeycomb, Lightstep) accept OTLP as input.
