OrgnlGrpInf is the <OrgnlGrpInf> block referencing the <GrpHdr> of the original message in return or cancellation messages (pacs.004, pacs.002, camt.029, camt.056).
Definition
<OrgnlGrpInf> carries <OrgnlMsgId> (MessageId of the original message), <OrgnlMsgNmId> (message name, e.g. pacs.008.001.10), <OrgnlCreDtTm>. It lets any receiving party identify the parent message unambiguously.

Specified since pacs.002.001.01 (2009). Its structure is shared by pacs.002 (Status Report), pacs.004 (Return), camt.029 (Resolution of Investigation) and camt.056 (Cancellation Request).
Use
On a pacs.004 (Payment Return) returning an original pacs.008: <OrgnlGrpInf><OrgnlMsgId>BNP/20260514/0001</OrgnlMsgId><OrgnlMsgNmId>pacs.008.001.10</OrgnlMsgNmId><OrgnlCreDtTm>2026-05-14T08:30:00</OrgnlCreDtTm></OrgnlGrpInf>.
