Definition
MT543 is the instruction by which an account owner asks its custodian to deliver a quantity of securities against receipt of a payment (Deliver Against Payment). It is the sell-side counterpart of MT541; both counterparties send paired instructions that must match at the central securities depository before settlement occurs.
