SWIFT MT category 2 message, third-party execution.

Definition

The MT205 is used when an institution re-routes, through a third party (for example a domestic settlement bank), a transfer it has received. It carries field 53a (the original ordering party's Sender's Correspondent) and reproduces the references. Like the MT202, it has a cover variant, the MT205COV.
