MaLo-ID / MeLo-ID
Marktlokation / Messlokation identifiers, German market communication (BNetzA/BDEW).
Definition
The Marktlokation denotes the place where energy is withdrawn or fed in, the Messlokation the meter itself; one MaLo can comprise several MeLo. They replace the former Zählpunktbezeichnung and are used in the UTILMD/MSCONS market-communication messages (GPKE/MaBiS).
Origin
Introduced by a Bundesnetzagentur (BNetzA) ruling of 20 December 2016, mandatory since 1 February 2018; the MaLo-ID is administered by the BDEW (German Association of Energy and Water Industries).
