Where Level 1 carries the 'business card' (name, address, country), Level 2 declares ownership structure. The Relationship Record expresses IS_DIRECTLY_CONSOLIDATED_BY (closest consolidating parent) and IS_ULTIMATELY_CONSOLIDATED_BY (most distant consolidating parent), with Reporting Exceptions where a parent has no LEI.
