Definition

Kanban EDI uses X12 866 (Production Sequence) or Odette CALDEL/DELINS to transmit Sequenced JIT pull to tier-1 supplier. Adopted by automotive OEMs (BMW, Mercedes, VW) with <4h lead time. Evolution to ePOK (electronic Production Order Kanban).
