ISO 32000-2 (PDF 2.0) introduces PDF/UA accessibility, PAdES signatures, JavaScript 3DAA. Adopted by all viewers (Adobe Acrobat, Preview, evince). Subset profiles: PDF/A (archival), PDF/X (print), PDF/E (engineering), PDF/VT (variable transactional).
