Peer-evaluation group within ISO 20022 governance.
Definition
Each SEG covers a business domain (Payments, Securities, Trade Services, FX, Cards) and peer-reviews Business Justifications and Message Definition Reports before publication. SEGs are appointed by the RMG and assisted by Technical Support Groups (TSG).
Origin
Defined in ISO 20022-1 and in the ISO TC 68 registration procedures published on iso20022.org.
Example in context
