ClrSysMmbId
ISO 20022 financial-institution identification element, domestic routing.
Definition
ClrSysMmbId sits under FinInstnId (instead of, or alongside, BICFI). It pairs a ClrSysId — a code from the ExternalClearingSystemIdentification list (USABA, GBDSC, DEBLZ…) — with a MmbId carrying the institution's domestic routing number. It is the standard mechanism for local routing in pacs messages.
Origin
Defined in the ISO 20022 Message Definition Report (ISO TC 68/SC 9), with the external ExternalClearingSystemIdentification1Code list, Registration Authority SWIFT.
