AppHdr (head.001)

ISO 20022 head.001 application header, business message routing.

Definition

The BAH is a separate XML document (root element AppHdr) attached to the business message. It carries Fr, To, BizMsgIdr, MsgDefIdr, CreDt and, optionally, BizSvc, CpyDplct and Sgntr. It separates the routing layer from the application payload.

Origin

Defined in the ISO 20022 Message Definition Report of the head (Business Application Header) family, maintained by the Registration Management Group of ISO TC 68. Current version head.001.001.03.
