acmt

ISO 20022 Account Management business area, covering account life-cycle messages.

Definition

acmt (Account Management) is one of the four-letter business area codes in the ISO 20022 catalogue. It groups the messages exchanged between an account holder (or its organisation) and the account-servicing institution to open, amend, close or migrate an account. The message number follows the prefix, e.g. acmt.001 (opening) or acmt.023 (identification modification advice).

Origin

The acmt business area is defined in the ISO 20022 catalogue (ISO TC 68/SC 9), published and maintained by the Registration Authority at iso20022.org through the Registration Management Group.
