Definition

NDC Level 4 requires evidence of implementation of functions: AirShopping (full search), OfferPrice, OrderCreate, OrderRetrieve, OrderChange, OrderCancel, ServiceList, SeatAvailability, complying with NDC schema 21.3 or current version. Lists of certified airlines available on IATA NDC portal. Enables integration with OTA Booking.com, Expedia, Amadeus NDC-X via NDC-X aggregators. Combines with ONE Order for full order-based migration.

Origin

NDC Capability Certification programme launched by IATA 2015 ; Level 4 published 2018 ; ~95 Level 4 airlines in 2024.
