IAPR (AADE)

Greek tax authority behind myDATA.

Definition

The IAPR / AADE (Anexartiti Archi Dimosion Esodon) is the independent administrative body governing taxation in Greece. It operates the central myDATA platform for real-time transmission of sales, invoice and accounting data, organised into two Books (the Detailed Book and the Summary Book), and issues the unique MARK code for each transmitted document.

Origin

Established as an independent authority by Greek Law 4389/2016, operational from 2017; the myDATA platform is documented on the official aade.gr portal.

A Greek business transmits the summary of its sales invoices to the IAPR via the myDATA API; the platform returns a MARK sealing each document.
