Definition
OBX carries one atomic observation. Key fields: OBX-2 Value Type (NM, ST, CE…), OBX-3 Observation Identifier (often a LOINC code), OBX-5 Observation Value, OBX-6 Units, OBX-8 Abnormal Flags, OBX-11 Observation Result Status. Several OBX segments attach to one parent OBR.
