HL7 v2 segment, acknowledgments and flow control.

Definition

MSA-1 holds the acknowledgment code (HL7 table 0008): AA (Application Accept), AE (Application Error) or AR (Application Reject) in original mode, and CA/CE/CR in enhanced mode. MSA-2 echoes the Message Control ID (MSH-10) of the acknowledged message to correlate the response with the original request.
