MSA-1 values, HL7 v2 application-level acknowledgment.
Definition
Carried in MSA-1, these codes report the application outcome: AA = message processed successfully, AE = application error (the sender receives detail in an ERR segment), AR = reject for reasons unrelated to content (unrecognized message type or version, system unavailable).
