Definition

GLN follows the GS1 Company Prefix + Location Reference + Check Digit structure. Identifies a legal entity (Buyer GLN), a physical location (Ship-to GLN, Warehouse GLN), a function (Department GLN). Used in EDIFACT NAD with qualifier code 9, in X12 N1 with code 16, in PEPPOL BIS via EndpointID.
