Definition

AI (00) introduces an SSCC: a 1-digit extension, the GS1 company prefix, a serial reference, then a check digit, totalling 18 numeric digits. It uniquely identifies a logistic unit and acts as the link key to the despatch advice (DESADV/ASN).
