Definition

GRDF uses: FOI (Fichier des Opérations sur Index) to transmit gas readings, CFRS (Comptes Rendus) for interventions, GRDF Connect REST API to expose consenting customer data. Includes Gazpar (smart gas meter, ~11 million in service). Progressive replacement of fixed files with JSON REST API.

GRDF created 2008 by GDF Suez spin-off ; Gazpar rollout 2016-2024 ; modern API 2020.
