Hardware partners: NXP, Intel NUC, Dell PowerEdge XR, Lenovo ThinkEdge. Use cases: Retail (Walmart, Target inventory analytics edge), Manufacturing (Foxconn quality inspection edge AI), Telco MEC. Containerised workloads managed via GKE management console.

Anthos platform launched Google Cloud Next 2019 ; Anthos for Bare Metal published 2020 ; GKE Edge extension formalised 2022.
