Definition
The AI Act prohibits social scoring, subliminal manipulation, real-time biometric ID (with exceptions). High-risk AI (recruitment, credit, justice, critical infra) requires conformity assessment, technical documentation, human oversight, post-market monitoring. GPAI (General-Purpose AI) specific obligations. Applies progressively from 2025 to 2027.
