EndToEndId
ISO 20022 identifier within PmtId, present across the pain and pacs families.
Definition
EndToEndId is carried by PmtId in each transaction (CdtTrfTxInf in pain.001, DrctDbtTxInf in pain.008). Assigned by the initiating party, it is returned unchanged through pacs.008/pacs.003 and into the beneficiary's camt.053 statement, making it the key for reconciliation. When no value is supplied, the standard prescribes NOTPROVIDED.
Origin
Defined as a component of PaymentIdentification in the ISO 20022 Message Definition Reports (pain.001, pain.008, pacs.008…), maintained by the Registration Management Group; mandatory in SEPA per the EPC Implementation Guidelines.
