El Fatoura (TTN)
Trusted-third-party platform of Tunisian e-invoicing, operated by TTN.
Definition
El Fatoora applies a dual-signature model: the issuer signs the TEIF invoice (XAdES-B), then TTN adds its own digital signature as a trusted third party, assigns a unique identifier and QR code, and archives the invoice. Issuing software connects to it over a secure protocol.
Origin
Platform operated by Tunisie TradeNet (TTN), the foreign-trade single-window company, on behalf of the Direction Générale des Impôts (DGI Tunisia) ; obligation extended to all service providers by Article 53 of the 2026 Finance Act.
Example in context
A Tunis service provider generates its TEIF invoice, signs it with XAdES-B and transmits it to El Fatoora ; TTN counter-signs, assigns the unique identifier and QR code, then archives it and makes it available to the buyer.
