Definition
eIDAS (Regulation EU 910/2014) sets a European framework for digital identities and trust services — electronic signatures (qualified, advanced, simple), seals, timestamps, electronic registered delivery, website certificates. Mandatory mutual recognition for notified schemes. Three Levels of Assurance (LoA): low, substantial, high.
