UN/EDIFACT finance message, customer-to-bank multiple payment order.

Definition

PAYMUL (Multiple Payment Order message) groups several payment instructions in a batch structure (LIN/SEQ groups), using FII for banks, MOA for amounts and BUS for business codes. It is the most widely used EDIFACT message for issuing bulk payments.

Message type from the UN/EDIFACT directory (UNTDID), maintained by UN/CEFACT; conforms to the ISO 9735 syntax.
