CPP / CPA
OASIS ebXML standard describing collaboration profiles and agreements between trading partners.
Definition
A CPP is an XML document publishing a partner's capabilities: transports, messaging protocols (ebMS), security, and supported business processes. A CPA is the bilateral agreement derived from the intersection of two CPPs: it fixes the operational parameters (endpoints, certificates, reliability) that both parties' MSHs enforce.
Origin
Specified by OASIS in the "Collaboration-Protocol Profile and Agreement Specification" (ebCPP), adopted by the OASIS ebXML CPPA Technical Committee, and transposed as ISO 15000-1.
