Definition
7143 qualifies the item identifier carried in composite C212 of the PIA segment: SRV = GTIN (EAN/UPC), BP = Buyer's part number, VN/VP = Vendor's (supplier's) part number, IN = Buyer's item number. Combined with element 3055 it states unambiguously which item registry is in use.
