CustomizationID (BT-24)

EN 16931's BT-24 business term, the routing key of validation.

Definition

BT-24 carries a URN identifying the exact profile: plain EN 16931, or a CIUS such as XRechnung or PEPPOL BIS Billing 3.0. The validator reads this identifier (cbc:CustomizationID in UBL, GuidelineSpecifiedDocumentContextParameter in CII) to select the matching Schematron artefacts. A wrong value causes the wrong ruleset to be applied.

Origin

Defined as business term BT-24 in EN 16931-1 (CEN/TC 434); its PEPPOL value is standardised by OpenPEPPOL (urn:cen.eu:en16931:2017#compliant#urn:fdc:peppol.eu:2017:poacc:billing:3.0).
