Definition

CityGML 3.0 (published 2021) introduces Building Versioning, Indoor Modelling, Construction Stages. LOD0 = footprint, LOD1 = block, LOD2 = roof shape, LOD3 = façade detail, LOD4 = interior. Implementations: Berlin 3D, Helsinki 3D, Singapore 3D, Lyon, Paris (digital metropolis twin). Pivot format toward IFC for BIM-GIS integration.
